April is almost over already.

Well my family and friends, time is flying by already this year.

Lynn and I bought a new house, got out of that apartment, that wasn't too bad

at first, but got old having people living above us. So glad to be out of there.

Golf season is upon us, this winter was really wet and cold, so didn't get to play much.

Lynn is traveling alot again, being gone for a week at a time.

This summer has turned out to be getting pretty busy. We have a wedding up in Ks.

in May, then I am flying to Phoenix to Amy's , then mom and I are driving over to Grant's

for a week, then, we will go back to Phoenix, and after a couple days, Amy, Austin, Abbi, and my

self are driving to Texas. Amy and the babes will stay thru out the month of June, spending a week up in Melvern, Ks. picking up her husband along the way in Wichita..and Lynn and I will drive to Jacksonville Fl. for my Hinschberger Reunion...then we will meet back here, and after a while longer, Amy, kids and I will drive back to Phoenix, in time for me to go back over to Grant's to help with my new granddaughter who is coming sometime in July. We are all so

excited for Avery to join our family. Then in Aug. our families will try and get up to Idaho for

my nephew Bryan Hinschberger's wedding. That should be an awsome time too.

So my summer is all planned out.

I am very excited that my babies will get to spend a month with us again...and that I get to go

out and see them all a few times. Life is good.

Dad Gourley is still receiving kemo beads shot directly into his liver, and is still doing quit well with those treatments. God has blessed us with another year with Dad G. In fact, all us Gourley's are meeting this Christmas in Kansas again...we did this 2 yrs ago...and we will do it again. Fun times. Kids want to spend as much time as they can with Grandpa. We don't know how long he will be with us, but, so far so good....He is LIVING WITH LIVER CANCER!!!!!!!

Well, guess that catch's me up for now, I will find a couple pictures to add to this post....I love showing off my babies....and my family.

A Little Something New

Wanted to share a couple new pic's I have received...and fill you in...

Tomorrow is Easter Sunday. Which means, I lost my daddy 16 years ago. He died

Holy Thurs. before Easter Sunday in 1994. He is with me in my heart every single

day, and I still miss him terribly. Today, Lynn and I were going thru our old stuff

that we have trying to decide what to get rid of and what to keep...it's been in storage,

or we have moved it so many times we just don't use it...One of those things is a

very "old" transitor radio...This little thing was given to daddy by mom and us kids when

the boys and I were very young..I remember the picture of it sitting of the table in the

kitchen after he opened his gift...and it was for Fathers Day. I kept this radio all these

years, it doesn't work, the leather case around it is torn, but it was daddy's so I keep it.

Today, I gave it up.. I said to Lynn, I don't know what to do about this, and he grabbed it

from me and said I do....and headed for the trash...Boy those tears came fast...how do I

give this up. I have so many things that were daddys and I just can't give them up. But

today I gave that radio it final burial...and as I write this, again the tears flow...I love you daddy, and I miss you every single day.

Now on a cheerier note, Happy Easter to everyone. I won't be having my babies this year, but we

do get to have Mom and Dad Gourley with us, our Lisa, and possibly a friend of Lisa's named Lisa.

So I know we will have a great Easter...My mom is with Tad, thank God......our Amy and Bryan are with his family and our son Grant and Ash are with her family...So we still are with family....That's all that matters...

Here are just a couple new pic's I have...hope you enjoy them........and Happy Spring to all.

My Stay with Grant and Ashleigh March 2010

After Sister's Weekend, Grant and Ash came to Ventura and picked me up. I got to stay 8 more days with them..Amy and kids came over, so I was able to have a good baby fix. These children are my heart..and now we have another one on the way....she will join our family by July...I even got to see her in the sonogram while I was there. I miss them all already and I've only been gone 24 hrs. I love you all.

Pictures of Sister's Weekend 2010

Sister's Weekend 2010

We all met in Burbank this year, went to two tapping's of the "Doctors Show" we should be seen in at least one of them, has to do with anti-aging...Then we ate great food at The Geisha House in Hollywood, walked and shopped Hollywood, then headed for Karen's house in Ventura, where we ate great food prepared by our Cabana Boy, Chef Mark..2 great dinners, a lobster stuffed Cod, and a Fillet of Elk, so beautifully presented and so delicious...He also made us the "old" Hinschberger receipe of homemade Carmel Rolls...We went to 2 movies, shopped downtown Ventura, stopped at a bar and had drinks, and we just really enjoyed being together. Next year I am hosting the weekend at our new house...What fun!!

Gourley Family Update 2010

Hello and Welcome to 2010

Gourleybabies....and the Gourley Family

Well it's a new year, and lots of promising things will happen this year. Hopefully Lynn and I will find a house to buy and real soon, for our lease is up March 31st, and we are not staying in this apartment any longer. Great to start with, but very noisy neighbors above us, not having access to all your stuff cause it's being stored..what hassles...so, hopefully by April 1st we will be in our new home. We really did want to find something kinda out away from it all, with land, but in our price range...and we are not finding it. When you drive out in the country here, it is like being in a millionaire area...My where do they all get their money...Beautiful, huge luxury homes...so no, we can't afford those. So maybe in 7-8-10 yrs when Lynn retires...maybe we can find something like we want...only time will tell. And maybe by then we might have some of the babies closer to us, who knows...

This past year, I got to go to Hawaii, on a girls trip with cuzzins for a week, We had Amy, Austin and Abbi living with us from before Christmas '07 to the end of May of 08...and that was wonderful, and bittersweet...love having them, but hated to be a disciplinarian to my grandbabies....grammies and papa's are for loving, not spanking.....but, it was great anyway...then I helped Amy and Bryan get settled into their new place in Phx. for a couple weeks..For those of you who don't know, Bryan was trying to get transferred thru his work with Honeywell here to Texas..so he worked on that the whole time Amy lived here with us, but with the poor economy nothing ever came up, so she moved back...They were apart long enough..... I got to go to Grant and Ashleigh's for a couple weeks, after Amy's house, to babysit Carter while they went to Antigua on vacation, and I stayed with them for about 2 weeks all in all...that was wonderful too.

In the mean time, I put our house on the market for sale the end of May before I went out to Phx. and Ca. and unexpectedly, it sold with in 2 weeks, with a closing date of July 1st. I was not returning from Calif until June 23rd.....so it was a mad dash to get packed, and moved out and moved into this apartment with in 6 days....But we did it...Thanks to Lynn for apartment hunting, storage unit hunting...ect...

Then I drove back out to Phx. the last week of October...spent 2 weeks with Amy, althou we went over to Grant's for Holloween, then back, and then after 2 weeks, I went over to Grant's took Austin and Abbi with me for a few days, Amy came and got them, then Mom and Dad Gourley came out to Ca, for a week visit, then we all, went back over to Phx. to share Thanksgiving and Christmas all in the same day with all of us together...Lynn flew in, but our Lisa couldn't get away from work, so she didn't get to come...so sad...but Lynn and I and my mother and Lisa spent Christmas here together in Texas. My mom came back with me from Phx. on Dec. 1st and stayed thru Jan 5th. And of course it was freezing here the whole time...so poor mama froze....she sat under a blanket with our heat on 74 and I sat under a fan!!!!!!!!!!

So that brings us to 2010.....

So far planned for this year.....my girl cuzzins weekend is coming the end of Feb...which happens to be at cuzzin Karen's out in Ventura Ca...so....guess where I am going for a week or so after that..yep..Grant and Ash's...he will come get me so I can see them also...and hopefully Amy and family can get over for a couple days... Then for sure I will be going out in July maybe June..for Grant and Ash are expecting my 4th grandbaby. We have our Hinschberger Family Runion coming this June I plan on going to....We also have 2 weddings this year...my brother Scott's oldest boy Brian, (who sang at Amy's wedding) is getting married in August. Then before that in May, Lynn's sister's daughter is getting married, so we know that will be a Kansas trip...

Dad Gourley is still doing quit well. Ayear ago, we would of said that he wouldn't still be with us from his liver cancer, but having the doctors shooting the kemo beads directly into the liver has given him so much more time..and good time..he is still pain free...of course he hurts once in a while from other aches and pains..but he is doing very well. He has not gained hardly any weight, but at least he has not lost any more....stays about 160-165 or so...

Both my mothers are well, thank God....

So now I will post a few new pic's that I have....the kids haven't changed much, but oh they are my loves and my life......
